Over the next few months Blog Pr Wire’s Blog Tips blog will be reviewing and featuring a variety adserver plugins for WordPress.

I know we have many bloggers that use free hosting such as blogger, however if you are selling adspace, you should have by now updated to owning your own hosted platform ;) which is why we have decided to feature WordPress plugins for adserving in this series of  posts.

Our first featured Adserver WordPress Plugin is OIOpublisher

Google Adsense is usually the Pay per click ad network that comes to mind when a blogger is considering PPC ad networks to run on their blog. But wait! There are other established and trustworthy PPC ad networks out there, so why not give them a try.

AdBrite will often accept blogs or websites that AdSense overlooks. They run ads on over 100,000 websites. It’s free to join and they will target ads on their end for you.

Here are a few more PPC Ad networks that often accept bloggers as publishers:

BidVertiser

7search

Chitika

Ad Dynamo (contextual ads)

Pitch a Blogger

Why did you start your blog? This WAHM is getting Healthier was started as a way to help me keep my weight loss and healthier lifestyle goals, progress, and setbacks on track. It’s not just about weight loss, but healthy cooking, work-life balance, exercise, and a healthier mind.

What is your blog about? I blog about food, weight loss, dealing with chronic pain, working from home, and keeping sane while life goes on. The goal is to reach and obtain a healthier home, life, family, mind, and spirit.

Share a tip you use to promote your blog: I tweet often about life in general and promote my blog. It’s not just about promotion, but learning and sharing with Tweeples.

Tell us a bit more about your blog and your goals for the year:
My goals for 2011 are to post more often and to keep it as honest as I have been. I share success and failure on the health front and hope my stories can help others feel less alone.

Sherrie Thompson is a married wahm of 2, 42, insomniac, vegetarian, home biz owner, soapmaker, anime-lover. She’s been telecommuting since 2000 and as tempted as she is at times, she doesn’t see ever going back to work outside of home…unless the dream job calls.

It’s never too early or late to get started on a new life of healthy living, which is why we’re pleased to spotlight Let’s Move it Mommas, a website sure to help you and your family live a smarter life. Having shed 75 pounds and assorted ailments for over a decade, Momma Marissa launched her blog in March of 2010 and people all over the globe are tuning in.

Why did you start your blog?

I wanted a place where people could go to improve their quality of life.  I have such a strong passion for helping families be the healthiest they can be and this blog has allowed me to reach so many people this way.

What is your blog about?

I dedicate this blog to helping my readers understand healthy living.  I share recipes, daily exercise tips, my weight loss story and the stories of others, the latest exercise and nutrition products, kid-friendly recipes and tips on raising a healthy family, plus much more.

Share a tip you use to promote your blog that you feel may benefit other bloggers :

I am actively involved in many communities, whether they are PR related or health related, plus I use social networking to spread the word about what I have featured on my blog each day.

Tell us a bit more about your blog and your goals for the year:

My goal has always been and will be to reach as many people as possible with my message.  To help children and their families maintain a healthy lifestyle.  These days people get so “busy”, we forget that exercise and nutrition will help fuel our quality of life for the rest of our lives.  Our children learn these habits at a very young age, so the more we do as parents to increase their health, the more they will take these changes and apply them to their lives and the lives of others.

Marissa has a degree in Heath Education and Exercise Physiology from Sam Houston State University. She designed exercise plans for heart patients in cardiac rehabilitation for two years before pursuing her current career, teaching Physical and Health Education to children, from kindergarten to eighth grade. Additionally, she is an active community member, enjoying promoting health and wellness as often as possible

Eight new bloggers on the Blog Pr Wire

Posted by BlogPrWire Categories: Featured Bloggers

I thought since everyone is so happy around here today that we would share the happiness and let everyone know we have eight new subscribers to the Blog Pr Wire ! Better yet I thought I would share their blogs with you.

Happiness Delivered is a Parenthood blog written by Melanie. I enjoyed my visit until I saw the photo of her beautiful family in front of an Orca – I have seem to have developed an adult fear of Orca’s which isn’t so good since they are often in our local harbour !

Her blog is full of all kinds of great things and her children adorable…  we even took the time to vote for her on Top Mommy Blogs during our visit to her blog.

My selection criteria while deciding which blog to share of our new subscribers was – well entirely superficial. Melanie has same last name as my future husband – but don’t scream nepotism because really I have no idea who Melanie is!

Other new members are:
