Why did you start your blog?

Originally, I started my blog to chronicle our infertility journey. At that point we’d been through 2 years of IF, and we were told we would have to do IVF if we ever wanted to have kids. The next month, I ended up pregnant – on our own, with no assistance! So, it ended up chronicling our pregnancy and my sons stay in the NICU.

What is your favourite Blogger gadget? I love the Popular Posts option that Blogger offers. I enjoy seeing what people are loving reading!

I’m not big on self promotion. In fact, I really don’t do it. People find my blog via Pinterest, Twitter, and even forums. I’ve seen a lot of traffic come from places like Baby Center. I used to be a great commenter, but with a 1 and 2 year old, I’ve slacked off. I think, in general, a lot of times bloggers find each other via comments.

Tell us a bit more about your blog and your upcoming goals for your blog;

My blog has grown so much in the past few months. I’ve branched out content wise – posting more things that I think people really find useful. I’m sharing How-To’s and recipes and doing giveaways. My blog is still centered around my family and I’ll never post anything that isn’t meaningful to me first. Sometimes in BlogLand, it can become a hoarding of information instead of a sharing platform. I’m a sharer – I love helping other people learn how to do things, and my blog is my platform to do that.

Now, not only am I a Mommy Blogger, but I’m a Food Blogger too! I love sharing my recipes and giving other families fast, easy, healthy meal ideas.

Why did you start your blog? This WAHM is getting Healthier was started as a way to help me keep my weight loss and healthier lifestyle goals, progress, and setbacks on track. It’s not just about weight loss, but healthy cooking, work-life balance, exercise, and a healthier mind.

My goals for 2011 are to post more often and to keep it as honest as I have been. I share success and failure on the health front and hope my stories can help others feel less alone.

Tell us a bit more about your blog and your goals for the year:

My goal has always been and will be to reach as many people as possible with my message.  To help children and their families maintain a healthy lifestyle.  These days people get so “busy”, we forget that exercise and nutrition will help fuel our quality of life for the rest of our lives.  Our children learn these habits at a very young age, so the more we do as parents to increase their health, the more they will take these changes and apply them to their lives and the lives of others.

Marissa has a degree in Heath Education and Exercise Physiology from Sam Houston State University. She designed exercise plans for heart patients in cardiac rehabilitation for two years before pursuing her current career, teaching Physical and Health Education to children, from kindergarten to eighth grade. Additionally, she is an active community member, enjoying promoting health and wellness as often as possible

Happiness Delivered is a Parenthood blog written by Melanie. I enjoyed my visit until I saw the photo of her beautiful family in front of an Orca – I have seem to have developed an adult fear of Orca’s which isn’t so good since they are often in our local harbour !

Her blog is full of all kinds of great things and her children adorable…  we even took the time to vote for her on Top Mommy Blogs during our visit to her blog.

Parent Palace is very new, it’s still a baby. I’m learning so much with it, and have a lot of ideas that I’m still sorting through. One thing I’m planning on implementing is a self improvement section since that is the path I’m on right now.

On Mondays, I post author interviews. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, I post guest blogs and book features. On Fridays, I post book reviews twice a month. The other two Fridays, I post reader interviews in my Reader’s Corner.

Joanne Troppello is a romantic suspense and inspirational romance author writing contemporary romance with a classic feel. As a freelance writer / marketing consultant, she is contracted to work for several different companies, to write non-fiction, how-to articles each week. She also consults for a local medical organization and manage facebook and twitter accounts for different clients.

Can you share a blogging tip with other bloggers reading the Blog Pr Wire blog?

” The best thing that I have done is to develop a terrific relationship with the NBC Philadelphia television studio where I have been filming live segments for The 10 Show for the past two years. It’s been great exposure for the site and our blog readers really seem to enjoy the filmed segments that we post online.

In order to promote your blog, it is important to read other blogs and comment on them too. This will let other bloggers know that you’re “out there.” Also, I do not follow every blog that I visit, or every blogger that visits my blog; I follow those which add value to my life.

This year, my biggest goal is to grow my readership through consistent posting on topics directly related to eco-friendly living. You’re likely to see posts about growing an herb garden, favorite e-books and choosing organic dairy products for your family.

Another goal I have is to review, and host giveaways, for eco-friendly products.

I had written a book titled Stretching Your One Income Dollar and wanted a website to go along with it.

Making less go further. We are a one income family and we show how it is possible to still live comfortably with one income.

Why did you start your blog?

I started my blog after discovering the wonderful world of blog giveaways. I thought it would be fun to host my own so I gave away something from my home. After a few months, I was contacted by a company to do my first product review and it just grew from there!

I plan to continue with the reviews and giveaways as I have been doing. I have a team of reviewers and they have been doing the bulk of the reviews. It takes me a lot of time to do all the admin. I have some big events planned for the next year. I love working with other bloggers on events, so I will likely continue doing that as well.
