The number one request we have received is to create a way for the bloggers using our website to easily network and cross promote with other bloggers. We are working on a few ideas, however, in the mean time we have launched a new community forum in the Blogger Dashboard.
The forum lists opportunities from advertisers looking to promote the following on blogs;
Paid posts
Paid reviews and posts
Sponsored Tweets
Anchor text links
Contest sponsorships and reviews (These advertisers will provide free contest prizes or product in exchange for reviews.)
Followed by threads to help you find other bloggers looking for cross promotion opportunities & networking.
Looking to exchange featured posts
Looking to Exchange Twitter Shout outs
And a weekly RT group

We didn’t get as much done today as we had hoped, however you should watch for our first PR Pitch Wire (test) to go out tomorrow morning. If you haven’t yet submitted your FREE pitch please go here to do so. (You will need to be logged on.)
A few tips on submitting your Free Blog PR Pitch. This is a Pitch which means you need to get the readers attention. They need an OFFER. Remember WHO you are pitching to – >Bloggers. Offer them something a blogger can benefit from.
So this is a BAD blog pitch:
Visit our blog about parenting. We have all kinds of great tips and giveaways.
This is a GOOD Blog Pitch:
This BLOG (link)Â (PR 2) is looking for other blogs in the categories of ; Christian parenting, homeschooling, and home making to network with – lets share twitter shout outs, trade some anchor links, or feature each others blogs.
TPS:
- State what you can offer and what you are looking for.
- You don’t have to offer something in return but it helps. Think about which blog PR Pitches will you reply to. What is the offer? How is worded.
- Limit your pitch to four sentences.
Your pitch will look like the following in the wire:
————-
NAME
URL
Twitter ID
Email
Four sentence Pitch
——————————-

We are surprised to discover that one of our wonderful Blog Newswire subscribers featured us on her blog, so we had to bump ‘create a press page’ up the to do list.
If you see us featured on a blog or media outlet (or if you feature us yourself), please let us know so we can consider placing mention on our press page.
We also have a Link to us page up where you can find text links to use when placing a link on your website.
Thank you to all our great new subscribers!

Registration is up and we have quite a few new bloggers registered already!
We are still working on our Blogger Dashboard and considering what tools bloggers would appreciate and find useful in the blogger dashboard. Of course you will find blog pr and advertising requests listed in the dashboard but we are working on a list of other free blogging tools.
Check out our sponsor. Her Blog Directory. Free blog directory listings for blogs written by women.

It looks as though the registration for bloggers is working here at Blog Press Releases. We realize the form needs some aesthetic modifications (moving the captcha box to centre for example, but right now the priority is getting everything working, stable, and content up.) We will launch a feedback forum in the future to start dealing with aesthetic improvements.
Interested in reaching bloggers online with your PR pitch or looking for pay per post or text link advertising on blogs ? We now have a newsletter just for blog advertisers to receive special discounts and offers to promote their blog pr pitches, press releases to bloggers and more.

Bloggers are welcome to pre register and help us work out our beta bugs, however at this time Blog Press Releases and the blog news wire are not yet fully functional.
You can now check out the about us page to learn more about whose behind BlogPressReleases.com
